
Up and down day leads to tie for 10th

Joe Byun leads UNF at Gridiron Classic

UNF went through an up and down day on the par 70 layout of Warren Golf Course, where the Ospreys fell as low as 16th in the team standings before fighting back to fifth place and finally settling into a tie for 10th with Iowa and San Francisco University.
Freshman Joe Byun was the most consistent part of UNF's day, shooting matching rounds of 73 to poise himself for a top-10 finish on Tuesday. Byun is tied for 11th with six others and five shots behind the pace set by a trio of leaders.
Jeff Dennis and Chris Kennedy were UNF's next highest finishers, each tying for 38th with two round totals of 151 (+11).
Making his first start of the year, Major Forbess opened play with an 80 for the Ospreys before shooting 75 in the afternoon. J.C. Horne rounded out the scoring for UNF with rounds of 81 and 80.
