JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida women's swimming team returns after a month off for an 11 a.m. meet with No. 20 Florida State and UNC Wilmington, who is ranked 25th in the mid-major poll, on Saturday at UNF Aquatic Center.
In their last meet on Dec. 1, the Lady Ospreys defeated New Orleans 165-66 in a non-conference dual. Freshman LynAnn Nelson rolled to three first-place finishes, highlighted by a school record-setting time of 10:30.88 in the 1000-free. She also took first in the 400-IM (4:40.76) and 500-free (5:15.43). Her time in the 400-IM was the seventh-fastest in UNF history.
UNF fell to both FSU (143-83) and UNCW (168.5-73.5) last season in Tallahassee. Zeynep Meric led the Lady Ospreys with a first-place finish in the 500-free, clocking in at 5:09.33.

Who's Hot: Junior diver Debbie Rapoza earned her second consecutive CCSA Diver of the Week award on Dec. 4 after her performance against New Orleans on Dec. 1. She took first place in 1-meter diving after posting a score of 265.65, shattering her mark of 227.70 in the previous meet. She finished second in the 3-meter competition with a score of 232.75. Rapoza is in second place in the CCSA standings for 1 and 3-meter diving.
Notables: Rapoza's Diver of the Week award marked the fourth time this season the Lady Ospreys have earned that honor … UNF has had a diver earn that recognition following each week they've competed this season … five Lady Ospreys (Rachael Branston, Krissy Harms, Caroline Poling, Becky Ryerson and Sara Taylor) recorded new season-best times in UNF's last meet.
