TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The
University of North Florida women's swimming and
diving team returned to the pool for the first time
since November on Saturday, falling to both Florida
State and UNC-Wilmington.
FSU defeated the Lady Ospreys 143-83, while UNC-
Wilmington prevailed 168.5-73.5.
UNF's Zeynep Meric recorded a first-place finish in
the 500-freestyle, finishing in a time of 5:09.33.
Krissy Harms also had a productive afternoon with
two fourth-place finishes. She recorded a time of
1:12.22 in the 100-breastroke to finish fourth in that
event, right behind teammate Krysten Nemecek
(1:10.12). Harms also finished fourth in the 200-IM
with a time of 2:15.49.
UNF is back in action against Lock Haven and
Northern Colorado on Jan. 10.
