Lady Ospreys breeze past Florida Southern

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 4,2004)-The University of North Florida swimming team opened up its home schedule with a victory over Florida Southern College on Saturday. The Lady Ospreys won all of the 13 events, and had a second place finish in all but two events.
Of the nine individual events, the Lady Ospreys had eight different winners, as junior Christie Britt was the only multiple winner. "It was great to see the team show spirit and unity in out last competition of the semester," said head coach Beth Harrell.
UNF will have time to relax, as its next competition isn't until Jan. 7-8 as it travels to the University of New Orleans for the New Orleans Invite. "We had some great swims, Harrell said, now we are going to focus on exams."
After its trip to New Orleans, North Florida will host its final home competition on Jan. 15 as Florida International and Georgia Southern pay a visit.
