Spent first three collegiate seasons at Liberty before transferring to North Florida as a senior...swam season-best races for three events as a sophomore at ASUN Championships...also swam season-bests as a freshman at CCSA Championships in 2023...attended George Walton Comprehensive HS, where she swam for four years in the freestyle and backstroke races...helped team to four straight county titles and a 2022 Georgia 6A-7A state title...earned all-state honors each of her last three years of high school...2022 Academic All-American and a four-time scholar-athlete...also competed in volleyball during high school.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Martins and Monika Jansons...has one sister, Karina...father, Martins, played collegiate soccer at South Carolina...born on Sept. 23, 2003...plans to pursue her Masters in Accounting...chose UNF because "the swim team has a great team environment and a great coaching staff that will support you in all that you do. It's also hard to beat a school so close to the beach."
