2011-12 (junior): Went 11-9 overall in singles play… had a 7-5 mark in singles in dual matches before being sidelined due to an injury… played mainly at No. 4 singles, compiling a 6-4 mark… also had a 1-1 record at No. 3 singles… battled to a 4-6, 7-6 (4) 10-3 No. 4 singles win against then-No. 36 Miami’s Henrique Tsukamoto (Feb. 26)… helped UNF’s to a 4-3 upset of then-No. 42 South Alabama by winning 6-3, 6-3 over Cody Hall at No. 4 singles… notched a 7-5, 6-3 No. 4 singles win against then-No. 71 Radford’s Stijn Meulemans (Jan. 16)… teamed with Beauregard Treyz for all doubles matches, compiling a 12-10 mark overall and 7-7 in the spring… took an 8-4 win with Treyz at No. 2 doubles against South Alabama’s Hanno Bartsch and Christian Kuehne… held on for a 9-8 (2) win over Troy’s Tommy Cundy and Jamie Eccleton (Mar. 10)… played with Treyz at No. 2 doubles in final two regular-season matches… picked up an 8-5 win over Kennesaw State’s Michael Browder and Louis Theodor (Apr. 13)… had an 8-7 win against Mercer’s Vincent DeLise and Joao Pagan (Apr. 14)… in the fall, went 4-4 in singles and 5-3 in doubles… reached the doubles quarterfinals with Treyz at both the Seminole Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 2) and the ITA South Region Championships (Oct. 20-24).
Prior to UNF: Named All-Big South Conference as a sophomore (2011)… Played at No. 1 singles during entire sophomore campaign at Gardner-Webb, finishing 12-11… Also compiled a 12-11 mark in doubles play… Played mainly at No. 2 doubles, going 6-6… Posted a 5-3 record at No. 3 doubles… Won the doubles title at the UNC Asheville Open Tournament with partner Evgent Slesarev as a sophomore… Did not compete his freshman year at Gardner-Webb.
Other Experience: Ranked first in Quebec in U-14… Finished in the top 10 in Quebec for U-16 and U-18.
Personal: Majoring in marketing… son of Serge Belair and Martine Cote… has a brother, Antoine, and a sister, Charlotte… Charlotte was a professional figure skater that finished in the top 10 in Canada… born June 13.
