KK Leddy joins the UNF softball staff as a volunteer assistant after four successful seasons with the North Dakota State Bison.
Originally from Middleburg, Fla., Leddy earned NFCA second team honors after compiling a 22-8 with 2.22 earned run average, 10 shutouts and three saves. In her final year, she was named the Summit League Pitcher of the Year and recorded her first collegiate career no-hitter on April 14, 2019, against South Dakota State. Leddy finished the 2019 season ranked 15th in the NCAA with 10 shutouts and 34th with 22 victories.
Leddy was a four-time All-Summit League selection and earned Pitcher of the Week four times in her senior season.Â
For her career, Leddy posted a 53-34 mark with 17 shutouts and 427 strikeouts. She owned a 3.32 ERA across 112 appearances.Â
Prior to NDSU, Leddy was a four-year varsity letter winner, four-year varsity MVP, three-time all-Clay County Team and three-time all-St. Johns River All Conference Team. She pitched for Fleming Island High School and head coach Heather Scharf. Following her junior year, she was selected as the 2014 Clay Today Pitcher of the Year and named to the All First Coast Team. As a senior, she was named first team 7A All-State Team and also earned 7A District Player of the Year, first team All-First Coast honors.Â
