Jordan Batchelor became a volunteer assistant coach for the North Florida men's golf program in the Fall of 2019 following a solid playing career with the Ospreys. He was promoted to assistant coach in January 2020.
Batchelor played for UNF from 2014-2019 including a redshirt season in 2016-17. He capped his career on a high note claiming the 2019 ASUN Tournament medalist honor and garnering ASUN All-Tournament accolades.
In his collegiate career, Batchelor partcipated in 28 tournaments (83 rounds) and posted a stroke average of 73.66 highlighted by his senior season mark of 73.14. He recorded 19 career rounds under par with 11 coming in his final season and also finished in the Top 25 at 10 events.
His career low round of 66 came in the opening round of the 2018 Sea Best Invitational and his lowest 54-hole total of 209 was compiled at the 2019 Gator Invitational.
In winning the ASUN individual crown, Batchelor opened tournament play with a 2-under 70 followed by a 4-under 68 before closing with a 73 for a 5-under 211. Batchelor was the squad's second best finisher at the 2019 NCAA Louisville Regional, earning a T25.
During the summer of 2019,. Batchelor qualified for the US Amateur and also claimed the Jacksonville Amateur crown.
A native of Jacksonville and prep standout at Bartram Trails High School, Batchelor earned his bachelor's degree in business management and began work on his MBA. He was a three-time member of the ASUN Academic Honor Roll.
