FRESHMAN (2025)
Made 15 appearances with three starts totaling 27 strikeouts over 33.1 innings pitched...notched a 1.70 ERA with a 0.91 WHIP against ASUN opponents...held a 3-1 overall record with a save, along with only 20 earned runs allowed for a 4.20 ERA in 33.1 innings pitched...also notched seven strikeouts in five appearances and 12.1 innings pitched with a win in conference...came in relief against Virginia in second NCAA Columbia Regional tournament matchup and recorded the win in walk-off victory...was the opening day starter on the road against Florida for her first collegiate start...notched 13 combined strikeouts with only one earned run allowed in her first two home appearances...came in relief against Jacksonville to pitch five innings and strike out five batters with no earned runs allowed to assist in comeback win in the River City Rumble.
PRIOR TO UNF
Has played varsity softball all three years at Newbury Park HS...was selected as 2022 Second Team All Coastal Canyon League, 2023 First Team All Marmonte Leage, 2023 Best Defensive Player and 2023 April Student Athlete of the Month...biggest accomplishment was throwing a no-hitter in 2023 against Westlake HS...recorded a sub-2.00 ERA all three years, including a 1.77 ERA with an 8-1 record and 85 strikeouts last season as a junior...played for Firecrackers Premier RYT club team.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Robert and Kristin Cook...mother, Kristin, was on swim team at American River College, while uncle, Wayne, played for UCLA football and grandfather, Ken, played for Arizona football...born on Aug. 25, 2005...plans to major in early elementary education...chose UNF because "when I went to a softball camp at UNF, I immediately knew this was a place I would love to go. I felt super comfortable, but also excited to go to school in Florida. The campus was beautiful, and the coaching staff was exactly what I was looking for. UNF was everything I was looking for in a college and for softball."
