Got starts against UConn and at South Carolina.
Held South Carolina to one run over 3.1 innings, fanning a season-best three batters against the Gamecocks in Columbia.

A four-year letterwinner as a pitcher at South Sumter HS, turning in a 19-6 record, 107 innings of work and 129 strikeouts.

Named the 2017 Daily Commercial All Area Player of the Year
