As a junior, 2008: Saw limited action, making three appearances and getting the start in two games ... picked up a no-decision after lasting 4.0 innings in UNF's 12-10 win over Presbyterian (3/4) ... pitched an inning and struck out one in UNF's exhibition win over the U.S. Military All-Stars (4/10).
As a sophomore, 2007: Did not play due to injury.
As a redshirt freshman, 2006: Made three appearances and one start...worked six innings and finished with an 18.00 ERA... threw a career-high 4.2 innings and struck out a career-best five batters against Florida A&M in his only start of the season (04/11/06) ... gave up 12 earned runs, 16 hits and two walks ... ended the season with six strikeouts.
As a freshman, 2005: Redshirted.
High School: 2004 graduate of Plant High School, where he played for Bo Puckett ... four-year letterwinner ... led the district with a .86 ERA as a senior ... finished with a 10-2 record and earned honorable mention all-district honors as a senior ... tossed a no-hitter and finished as the top pitcher in his area as a senior ... helped lead his squad to a runner-up finish in the regional championship in his final season at PHS ... was a member of the National Honor Society.
