- Made spot starts and served as one of UNF’s first middle relief options out of the bullpen.
- Made six starts, collected 41.1 innings and fanned 37.
- Earned a save with two scoreless innings against Stetson May 7.
- Posted arguably his best outings of the year against Boston College March 5, fanning a season-best seven while permitting only one hit in five innings of work.
- Collected five punchouts in four innings of relief against UCF Feb. 22.
- Came through in huge moments April 8, earning the win while fanning four and not allowing a hit against the Dolphins.
- Fanned three in 1.1 innings of effort against Kennesaw State April 30.
- Didn’t allow an earned run in four of the last six outings of the season.Â
- Also made starts against UCF on two instances, Liberty, Kennesaw State and South Florida.
2021
- Went 1-1 with 11 appearances, two games started, 23.1 frames worked and 25 strikeouts.
- Had a solid outing as a starter at The Citadel, going 5.0 innings while fanning five and allowing just one earned run. Allowed only four hits and spun 102 pitches in the effort.
- Had his best outing of the year, a quality start turned in which he earned the win in UNF’s 3-2 victory at USF March 23. Fanned four and allowed two earned in 6.0 frames of effort.
- Struck out at least one batter in all 11 of his outings.
- Punched out four FGCU Eagles April 1.

- Appeared as a reliever, starting pitcher and pinch hitter.Â
- Saw action in 10 total games between appearances on the mound and at the plate.
- On the hill, appeared in seven games while starting one.
- Went 0-0 while registering a 5.25 ERA over 12 innings, fanning 10.
- Fanned three in 2.2 frames, allowing just one earned run in UNF’s 5-4 win against VMI Feb. 14.
- Went 1.1 innings, fanning one while allowing one in UNF’s 7-2 win Sunday, March 1.
- Made his lone start March 11, spinning 3.0 scoreless innings while setting down three by strikeout in UNF’s 9-5 triumph.
- Appeared as a pinch hitter in three games.
- Notched his first career single, a line drive through the left side against Ohio State March 10.

2019
- Finished with the seventh-lowest ERA amongst UNF freshman in program history after working 12 appearances and 21.2 innings of work.
- Also appeared in two games on the offensive side of the game, appearing in a 9-2 win against Western Kentucky March 1 and against Louisiana-Monroe March 2.
- Turned in a 2.91 ERA, going 1-1 while fanning 12.
- Made his career debut in a 7-1 win at No. 3/5 Florida February 20, working a scoreless frame.
- Posted a season-high four strikeouts at No. 7/11 Florida State March 6, helping the Osprey hurlers set the UNF DI single game strikeout record with 17 punchouts against the Seminoles.
- Picked up a pair of strikeouts against No. 27 Tennessee March 2.
- Picked up the victory in a 10-4 defeat of Western Michigan March 9, fanning one while working around three hits and a walk to spin 2.0 scoreless innings.
- Struck out three in 2.0 scoreless innings as UNF downed FAMU, 9-1, April 27.
- Spun a season-high 62 pitches at Liberty March 30.
Prior to UNF
- Earned three varsity letters for the Sharks, helping guide the 5A school to district titles in 2017 and 2018.Â
- Garnered all-district accolades in each of his three years at the varsity level, collecting second-team laurels as sophomore and junior and first-team recognition in his final year.

- Earned his bachelor's in business management.Â
- Pursuing his master's in business administration.
- Son of Carmen and David Chappell
- Father was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 24th round of the 1973 June Draft. Elected to play at Florida State before transferring to Florida Gulf Coast Community College and Jacksonville University. With the Dolphins he earned all-american laurels as a first baseman.Â
- Has three siblings: Logan (29), Channing (16) and Regan (12).Â
