(Cross Country): Finished fifth at the JU Short Course Duals, helping the Ospreys to a perfect sweep of 15 points…Clocked a season-best 19:25.36 at the FSU Invitational…Finished 47th at the A-Sun Conference Championships with a 19:25.54 to help UNF secure the A-Sun Championship…Competed at the NCAA South Region Championships, clocking a 23:48.48 on the 6k-meter course. (Cross Country): Competed in six meets on the year…clocked a season-best 5,000 meter time of 20:04 at the Sodexho Stetson Hatter Invitational, placing 35th and helping the Ospreys to a first place team finish...placed 56th at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships with a time of 20:15…turned in a personal-best 6,000 meter time of 24:30.00 and finish of 144th at the NCAA South Region Championships. (Indoor Track): Earned All-A-Sun Second-Team honors as a member of the distance medley relay squad (12:15.95) that finished second at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships…also clocked a season-best 800 meter time of 2:20.38 at the conference championships, finishing eighth…posted a season-best mile time of 5:30.65 at the Tiger Paw Invitational. (Outdoor Track): Turned in season-best times in the 1,500 meters (4:50.80) and the 800 meters (2:20.64) at the Seminole Invite and FSU Relays, respectively…finished 13th in the 1,500 meters at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships with a time of 5:04.15.
FRESHMAN (2008-09)
(Cross Country): Competed in all six of the Ospreys’ meets…posted her personal-best 5,000 meter time of 19:25.14 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships where she finished 36th. (Indoor Track): Competed in the 800 meters and the mile at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, finishing first out of 16 runners in the mile…member of the distance medley relay team that placed second at the Clemson Tiger Invite…placed fourth in the distance medley relay (12:37.53) and fifth in the mile (5:12.78) at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships. (Outdoor Track): Competed in five different meets, specializing in the 800 and 1,500 meter races…turned in a sixth place finish in the 800 meters at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships (2:21.22)…her season-best time in the 800 meters was 2:17.37 and in the 1,500m was 4:47.19.
PREP AND PERSONAL
Coached by Willie Galloway and Jim Lowenstein…home schooled, but competed for DeLand High School…holds school records in the 1,600 meters (5:14), 800 meters (2:16), 5,000 meters (19:20) and 4x400 meter relay (4:06)…took second in the 800 meters at the 4A State Championships in 2005…also recorded top 15 finishes in the 800 meters and 1,600 meters in 2007 and 2008…Birthday: March 23, 1990…Parents: Marc and Lori Baumann…Siblings: Chad, Tara, Carly and Jenna…Majoring in Civil Engineering.
