Volleyball Earns 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - University of North Florida Volleyball earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award on Thursday by maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
The program boasted a 3.51 combined grade point average, with 14 student-athletes earning above a 3.5 GPA. North Florida's 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award marked a program record sixth-straight honor.
North Florida's 2026 AVCA Team Academic award marks the program's 18th-ever honor and its 14th since its Division I inception.
More than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs maintained a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale to earn the award for their classroom excellence during the recently completed academic year.
North Florida opens its 2026 season at Georgia in the Classic City Clash on Aug. 28 at 10:30 a.m. ET.
