PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Redshirt sophomore Danny Erickson carded a 4-under 68 score in round three to propel himself to a tie for 27th-place for North Florida Men's Golf at The Hayt Collegiate at Sawgrass Country Club on Monday.

Erickson, a Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. native, finished 3-under 213 for the event to earn the Ospreys' top individual placement. Graduate student Laurens Schulze-Doering also notched an impressive final round with a 2-under 70 score. North Florida finished 3-under as a team on the final day of play, which tied for the ninth-best third-round team total.

Freshman Diego Alvarez Perez, who competed as an individual, posted a 2-under 214 score to finish tie for 34th.

North Florida heads to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to participate in the Michael A. Marino Classic, hosted by Coastal Carolina, at The Dunes Golf Club on Sunday through Tuesday, March 15-17.
