Women's Tennis Improves On Unbeaten Season With Win Over Appalachian State, 4-2

JACKSONVILLE. Fla. – North Florida Women's remained unbeaten and improved to 16-0, defeating Appalachian State, 4-2, at UNF Tennis Complex on Saturday.

Graduate Anslee Long and sophomore Gabby Goyins got off to a dominant start in doubles action with a win at two, 6-1. Freshman May Fadida and sophomore Aryana Bartlett clinched the doubles point for North Florida with a win at three, 6-3.

Moving to singles action, North Florida earned first-set victories from graduate student Isabel Oliveira, Bartlett and Goyins. Oliveira completed her solid singles outing with a win at two, 6-1, 6-2. Her win put North Florida ahead, 2-0.

Goyins extended North Florida's lead to 3-1 with a win at five, 6-1, 6-2. Goyins is now 14-0 in singles this season. Bartlett clinched the match for North Florida with a hard fought win at three, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1. Bartlett improved to 12-3 in singles action in 2026.
