JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Men's Tennis cruised past College of Charleston, 5-2, at UNF Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.Â

The win marked the 100th career win for Head Coach John Collins. The match point was clinched in a straight-set win by junior Benjamin Scott.Â

Sophomore pair Joao Portugal and Jean Deloziere earned a 6-1 win at the third doubles line. The initial point was clinched when the sophomore Youssef Labbene and freshman Aron Major added a 6-2 win at the top position.Â

Major extended the lead with a 6-1, 6-4, win at the four spot in singles action. Slotted at the top singles line for the first time in his career, Labbene secured a straight-set win, 6-4, 6-3. Leading 3-1, Scott clinched the match point at the five line.Â

Portugal led his court in the third set and added another win when his court was retired, 5-7, 6-1, 3-1[RET].Â
