Serra Garners Second-Career ASUN Golfer of the Week Award

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Redshirt junior Filippo Serra took home his second-career ASUN Men's Golfer of the Week honor, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Serra placed 12th overall in the field with a 1-under 141 score through 36 holes at the Sea Best Invitational. He put up a career-low score with his sixth-career top-25 finish and ninth-career round in the 60s.
"It was a nice start to the semester for Filippo [Serra]," said Director of Golf Scott Schroeder. "He has been working hard and we look forward to more good things from him."
On top of the conference weekly award of his collegiate career, Serra gave North Florida men's golf its second honor of the season following Danny Erickson's ASUN Golfer of the Week honor on Oct. 2, 2025, after his performance at the Bryan Bros Collegiate.
Serra shares this ASUN Men's Golfer of the Week distinction with Lipscomb's Rio Saigal after they both tied for 12th at the Sea Best Invitational at 1-under 141.
Serra and the Ospreys make the quick turn to travel down south to compete in the Puerto Rico Classic from Feb. 9-11 in Rio Grande, P.R.

- Helped the Ospreys score 6-under 278 in the final round, which tied Texas A&M and UCF with the second-best team score in the final round among the 14 team field.
