RIO GRANDE, P.R. - Freshman Luke Balaskiewicz recorded his second consecutive round under par through a pair of rounds at the Puerto Rico Classic hosted by Purdue at Grand Reserve GC on Tuesday afternoon.

Balaskiewicz notched four birdies once again to reach another round of 2-under 70 on the day and 4-under overall. Laurens Schulze-Doering joined Balaskiewicz with a 2-under 70 second round score with five birdies, including four in the back nine of the course.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Luke Balaskiewicz is placed at 37th overall after the second round at 4-under 140 leading the team in birdies with eight total.
The true freshman is fourth overall in average score on par-four holes at 4-under (3.80).
Laurens Schulze-Doering started the second round with a birdie and totaled five on the day for a 2-under 70 score.
Danny Erickson, Jean-Philippe Parr and Filippo Serra all sit at 1-over 145 through two rounds after their respective days heading into Wednesday's final round.
Both Parr and Erickson are team leaders and top four among the field in pars with 27 total through 36 holes.
Serra is one of three players at the tournament with two eagles through a pair of rounds in Puerto Rico.
