JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Athletics announces its sixth-annual 904 Day fundraising effort for 2025, an annual initiative to fundraise toward the department's continued pursuit to elevate its student-athlete experience.

In 2025, North Florida Athletics is fundraising to enhance the fueling station for its student-athletes to forward nutrition and wellness efforts.Â

Help us kick off 904 Day on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 4-9 p.m., at Ink Factory Brewing. Everyone that makes a donation of $90.40 or more will receive an new exclusive North Florida Ospreys Dome hat.

The inaugural 904 Day started in 2020 with each year experiencing an increase in fundraising success. The area code 904 covers a five-county region of Northeast Florida, including the counties of Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau and Baker, and is the home for more than 50,000 alumni from the University of North Florida.

This 904 Day, we're inviting you to make a lasting impact on the lives of our student-athletes by supporting a vital initiative — the enhancement of the North Florida Athletics Fueling Station.
Thanks to the feedback from our student-athletes, we've recently hired a North Florida Athletics Team Registered Dietician. Through a partnership with Smoothie King, North Florida Athletics now providing more than 600 smoothies each week to fuel their performance and recovery after each workout, but we need your help to keep this momentum going.
Investing in the North Florida Athletics Fueling Station is more than just a donation — it's a commitment to the health, wellness and success of North Florida Athletics.
North Florida has established a goal to provide $100,000 worth of nutrition resources, education and counseling each year.
Our goal is to reach 300 donors and raise $44,000, which will fund an entire year's worth of smoothies. You can be part of this impact.
SPECIAL 904 DAY OPPORTUNITY
Donors who make a gift of $904 — enough to cover the cost of protein shakes for all student-athletes for one day — will receive a limited-edition 904 Day hat and an exclusive UNF Athletics Under Armour shirt as a token of our appreciation. As a reminder, donors who make a gift of $90.40 will receive an exclusive North Florida Ospreys Dome hat.
