
Men's Basketball Finalizes Signing Class With Addition Of Dalton Gayman

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida men's basketball head coach Matthew Driscoll announced the addition of graduate transfer Dalton Gayman to the 2025-26 roster on Wednesday.Â
Gayman averaged 9.4 points and 7.0 rebounds on 37.0 percent from behind the arc in 24.5 minutes per game at Purdue Northwest in 2024-25. He recorded 10 or more points with five or more rebounds in 11 games, in addition to four double-doubles, two of which were 20-point double doubles, last season. He posted a career-high 28 points in his debut season at Purdue Northwest against East-West University on Nov. 14, 2023.Â

"Dalton Gayman has had tremendous amounts of ebbs and flows throughout his career, yet he constantly has looked for areas to improve,' Driscoll said. "Dalton is a teammate that gives you everything possible as a student-athlete and teammate. The 'Southpaw' has an incredible physical and athletic measurables that mirrors well with his ability to make threes with deep range. Dalton constantly focuses with a servant's mentality to always lead by example competing to his fullest reaping everything he has sown."

Prior to Purdue Northwest, Gayman starred for State Fair Junior College and University of Arkansas Fort-Smith.Â

A Nevada, Mo. native, Gayman played at Nevada High School, where he helped lead his team to a MSHAA State Tournament run and earned Prep Hoops All-State honors.Â
