JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Six players in double figures helped North Florida Men's Basketball cruise past Trinity College of Jacksonville, 111-67, at UNF Arena on Saturday night.

North Florida improves to 2-5 overall and 2-0 at home this season.

Freshman guard/forward Trey Cady notched a career-high 22 points and three rebounds on 6-9 from the field, 2-4 from three and 8-10 from the free-throw line in 16 minutes. Sophomore guard Kent Jackson posted his sixth-straight game with 10 or more points with 15 points on 5-11 from the field, 4-7 from three, in addition to three rebounds, three steals, two assists in 23 minutes.

Graduate student guard/forward Dalton Gayman added 17 points and seven rebounds on 5-8 from the field and 6-6 from the free-throw line in 18 minutes.

North Florida eclipsed 100 points for the second time this season, both of which came at UNF Arena.

North Florida opened the game on a 9-0 run in the initial 2:27 minutes of action. The Ospreys extended their margin to 34-14 at the under eight-minute media timeout in the first half.

North Florida pushed its first-half lead to 51-18 with 3:47 minutes left – its third half with 50 or more points this season.

North Florida connected on 57.9 percent from the field and 47.1 percent from three in the first half. North Florida has converted on at least 50.0 percent from the field in the first half in four of its last five games.

Cady led all Ospreys with 15 points at the half, which already surpassed his previous career best total. North Florida out-rebounded Trinity 26-13 in the first half and 17-4 after the under-12 minute media timeout. North Florida led 62-25 at the half, its largest first-half margin this season.

North Florida opened its largest lead of the game at 80-36 with 12:59 minutes left in the second half.

All 11 Ospreys played in the game and 10 scored.

North Florida forced Trinity College of Jacksonville into 20 turnovers and outscored their visitors 34-7 in points off turnovers. North Florida also held a 25-9 margin in second-chance points, 21-5 in fast-break points, 46-24 in paint points and 52-31 in bench points.

North Florida remains home to host reigning OVC Champions SIU Edwardsville at UNF Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
