
Six Ospreys In Double Figures Propel Men's Basketball Past Trinity College Of Jacksonville, 111-67

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Six players in double figures helped North Florida Men's Basketball cruise past Trinity College of Jacksonville, 111-67, at UNF Arena on Saturday night.
North Florida improves to 2-5 overall and 2-0 at home this season.Â
Freshman guard/forward Trey Cady notched a career-high 22 points and three rebounds on 6-9 from the field, 2-4 from three and 8-10 from the free-throw line in 16 minutes. Sophomore guard Kent Jackson posted his sixth-straight game with 10 or more points with 15 points on 5-11 from the field, 4-7 from three, in addition to three rebounds, three steals, two assists in 23 minutes.Â
Graduate student guard/forward Dalton Gayman added 17 points and seven rebounds on 5-8 from the field and 6-6 from the free-throw line in 18 minutes.

North Florida eclipsed 100 points for the second time this season, both of which came at UNF Arena.Â
North Florida opened the game on a 9-0 run in the initial 2:27 minutes of action. The Ospreys extended their margin to 34-14 at the under eight-minute media timeout in the first half.
North Florida pushed its first-half lead to 51-18 with 3:47 minutes left – its third half with 50 or more points this season.Â
