JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball makes its last weekend trip outside of the First Coast in the regular season to face Florida Gulf Coast from May 2-4 in Fort Myers, Fla.

Last Time Out

The Ospreys sit at 22-23 overall record with a 10-11 mark in ASUN play, as well as a 7-10 record on the road. They have won three of their last five ASUN games highlighted with back-to-back victories against West Georgia and a Saturday home win against Stetson. After this weekend's series, UNF's only road trips will be a midweek down to USF along with the River City Rumble at JU to close out the regular season. Nick Monile stays hot as the Ospreys' best hitter with three hits against UCF on Tuesday to improve his batting average to .340.

Scouting FGCU

FGCU sits at 18-25 overall record with a 8-13 ASUN record, along with a 13-11 home mark. The Eagles have won three of their last four games against FIU and Queens at home. FGCU is tied with West Georgia at 8-13 in conference play fighting for the fourth and final spot in the ASUN Graphite Division. Robert Moya is the lone Eagles' hitter batting over .300 with 47 hits, 26 RBI and seven home runs. Chris Diaz is the starting ace with a 5.40 ERA and a 3-2 record to go with 57 strikeouts.

Series History

UNF holds an all-time record of 29-36 against the Eagles with a 24-33 mark against them in ASUN play. The Ospreys are only one game back from .500 against them on the road at 13-14. After suffering four straight losses to the Eagles coming into the season, UNF took two of three in its home series against FGCU, including a run-rule 10-0 win against them for the first time in program history.
