
Men's Golf Finishes Postseason Sixth at ASUN Championship

VALDOSTA, Ga. - North Florida men's golf finished out its postseason week in sixth overall through the final round of the ASUN Championship on Thursday afternoon.
The Ospreys had two stellar performances from Danny Erickson and Jason Duff, as they both finished with a 4-under combined score in the conference tournament. Erickson recorded all three rounds under par highlighted by a 2-under 70 round in his season finale.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Danny Erickson knocked in eagle on the fourth hole and followed it with back-to-back birdies on the back nine to complete ASUN Championship debut in 13th overall.
- The redshirt freshman bounced back from a slow start in the final round and went 4-under over the last 15 holes of the day.
- Jason Duff completed his illustrious Osprey career with three birdies and a share of 13th-place at 4-under 212.
- Both Erickson and Duff were top 10 among the field in par-three scoring average (even-par).
- Filippo Serra recorded 38 pars, which led the team and was top 10 in the tournament, to go 1-under 215 overall in the postseason.
- The redshirt sophomore finished his week first overall in par-five scoring average (8-under), while Erickson and Duff were not far behind in the top eight (6-under).
- Justin Ross ranked third in par-three scoring average (1-under) with four birdies in the final round to be 2-over 218.
- Brett Schell finished his collegiate career as the lone leader for the most birdies in the tournament with 16 total.
- UNF placed fourth in par-five scoring average (15-under) and fifth in par-three scoring average (4-over).
- The Ospreys were also one of five teams with multiple eagles, while totaling 54 birdies and 166 pars.
