Ospreys Complete Spring Season Debut In Caribbean

RIO GRANDE, P.R. - North Florida women's golf was once again led by Casilda Allendesalazar in the final round, as she carded even-par 72 on the day for a 1-under combined score at the Puerto Rico Classic hosted by Purdue on Tuesday afternoon.

Allendesalazar finished her spring debut tournament in 11th overall with eight birdies and 39 pars totaled through all three days in the Caribbean. The Ospreys wrapped up their extended weekend in 13th as a team with Kaitlyn Schroeder being inside the top 40 individuals as well.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Casilda Allendesalazar earned two birdies on the back nine and 1-under over the last six holes to place 11th overall in the stacked spring opener.
Kaitlyn Schroeder used her back-to-back birdies on the back nine holes as well to stay within the top 40.
Allendesalazar led the squad with 39 total pars, while Schroeder held the lead for birdies with nine total.
The dynamic duo also recorded a top-five par-five average (4-under) and a top-10 par-three average (1-under) respectively.
Helen Zhou stayed consistent in the final round with 15 total pars for her 10-over week in Puerto Rico.
Tantai Seema started and ended with a birdie, along with Kaitlynn Washburn's pair of birdies as well, to wrap up play on Tuesday.
The Ospreys finished the week with 34 birdies and 159 pars total.
