Men's Tennis Drops ITA Kickoff Road Match To No. 10 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis fell to No. 10-ranked Florida State, 4-0, in its return to the court after a pair of postponements to start the season on Friday afternoon.
The Ospreys suffered an early loss in doubles play on the first two courts. Chase Healey and Jean Deloziere trailed by one on the third court, 4-3, before the match went unfinished.
In singles play, Gianluca Filoramo took an early lead on court four, but fell in the first set, 6-4. Bruno Viertri had an early lead in the second set, 3-2, on the second court of play, but the match ended before the senior had a chance to finish the match.
North Florida will take on another top-16 opponent in South Carolina on Saturday, Jan. 25.
