
Swimming Opens New Year Hosting Georgia Southern on Senior Day

Six Seniors to be Honored Prior to Saturday's Meet
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming opens up the New Year hosting seasoned opponents Georgia Southern on Senior Day, for the final home meet for the 2024-25 competition season.Â
Seniors McKenna Fiore, Bella Giresi, Hannah Gnatt, Allie Larrimore, Gabriella Reeves and Marcia Shaw will all be honored for their contributions in and out of the pool prior to Saturday's meet.

"This will be our first meet back from the winter break. We have been training hard and we're looking forward to racing on Saturday. It is our Senior Day as well and we have six seniors being celebrated. Each one has made their mark on this program and we are looking to get them a win in their last home meet. Georgia Southern is a good program and they will be ready for us". -- head coach Ian Coffey

- This will be the final meet hosted at the UNF Competition Pool Complex this seasonÂ
- This meet will mark 20 years of women's swim history between the Ospreys and Georgia Southern, the first meet being on January 15, 2005
- The Ospreys have a positive record against Georgia Southern at home meets with a record of 7-4
- This will be the 27th time the Ospreys face Georgia Southern
- After this meet, the Ospreys have meets at Georgia Southern and FGCU before heading to the ASUN Championships in Knoxville, Tenn.
