Ospreys Split Pair of ACC Matches to Open 2024
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - North Florida women's soccer (1-1) dropped a Sunday evening tilt at No. 1 Florida State (2-0), completing a split of a pair of contests against Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) teams to open the 2024 season.

The reigning national champion Seminoles tallied five goals in each half to push their unbeaten streak to 25 games.
24 different Ospreys appeared in the contest, with all but one earning double-digit minutes. Sophia Hayag came off the bench and produced a pair of shots, including one on goal. Brooklyn Fugel started the match and logged a game-high 73 minutes for North Florida.
Sofia Miliancano and Sarah Barrentine split time tending the goal, with Barrentine posting a career-best seven saves in 45 minutes of time. Miliancano notched five saves in the first half.
