Track and Field Hosts Final Home Meet at East Coast Relays

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida track & field team will host its second and final home meet this season with the East Coast Relays. The event will take place at Visit Jax Track in Hodges Stadium from Apr. 26-27. The Ospreys will compete against an exorbitant number of competitors, including those from schools such as Jacksonville, Embry-Riddle, Mercer, Florida State and Florida.
Men
The Ospreys will take a couple weeks to prepare for the ASUN Outdoor T&F Championships from May 9-11, in Conway, Ark.
LAST TIME OUT
Men
- Rey Hernandez clinched a new lifetime mark of 53.01 in the men's 400mH, just shy of another program record.Â
- Jacob Hippo and Tariq LaJoie tied in the top 10 of men's high jump after clearing 1.91m.Â
- Jonathan Bailey notched a new lifetime mark of 22.46 in the men's 200m after securing third in his heat.
- Christian Ruocco snatched a new lifetime mark of 1:55.89 in the men's 800m, earning a third-place finish in his heat.
- Smilla Kolbe crushed top 15 overall and finished fourth in her heat for the women's 400m.Â
- Celine D'Anna went top 20 overall in the women's 400mH.
- Renske Drenten clinched top 15 overall in women's high jump.
