Ospreys Suffer First Loss to Owls Since 2001
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis (5-7) came back down from a 3-0 deficit, but fell to Kennesaw State (5-4) on Wednesday afternoon at UNF Tennis Complex.
The Ospreys struggled in doubles play, where they would drop the point to KSU. Singles play looked to be the same as doubles play until the Ospreys turned things around and were starting to make a comeback. They rallied back to tie it up 3-3, but dropped three points early in the match, which was too much to overcome in the 4-3 loss to the Owls.
Next up for the Ospreys, they look to bounce back against Lipscomb on Friday, Mar. 15, at 12 p.m., at the UNF Tennis Complex.
