North Florida Athletics Tallies Impressive Graduate Success Rate Numbers

Ospreys Tout Single-Year Cohort Report of 94 Percent, Second-Highest in School History

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Athletics' student-athletes continued to shine in the classroom as seen in the NCAA's latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) report as announced in November. UNF posted an overall single-year GSR 94 percent for the 2017-18 cohort, the most recent report per the NCAA.

The all-time record for the UNF Athletics is 95, set in the previous report. North Florida has surpassed 90 percent four times since the first report was available in 1999.

The GSR report is a four-class average that includes student-athletes who entered as freshmen in 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18, and graduated within a six-year period. It also accounts for mid-year enrollees, transferring student-athletes coming into UNF, and those leaving the university in good standing.

Five programs earned a perfect score of 100 percent in the most recent report. Additionally, North Florida Athletics achieved a 3.53 grade point average per the entire department.
