"To be named the ASUN Defender of the Year is a tremendous honor for Zara." Faulconer said. "She is the hardest working student-athlete I have coached in my career. It is great to see someone that has done everything the right way consistently day in and day out get rewarded for those efforts. She has been the face of our program for several years and I am grateful for everything she has done for us."
A standout in the Osprey defense for the past five seasons, Siassi has started and played in every single contest of her UNF career, logging a team-high 1,621 minutes in 2024. The redshirt-sophomore collects her first-career All-Academic honor, boasting a 3.95 GPA in the classroom as she works towards a degree in Biomedical Science.Â
"Paige is very grounded in everything she does, so it is no surprise to find her equally as successful in the classroom as she is on the soccer field. I am thrilled to see Paige recognized on the ASUN All-Academic team. It is a credit to all her hard work and we look forward to seeing Paige continue to prosper in all aspects of her life."

It is hard to win games without players like Amanda Hartmann. She is tough as nails and does a great job of breaking up play, winning first and second balls, and starting our attack. After coming close several times, I am thrilled to see Amanda receive All-ASUN honors for the first time in her career."

Her first season back was one of her strongest yet, tallying six clean sheets on the season to help UNF hold an undefeated record of 6-0-4 at Hodges Stadium earning her All-ASUN Third-Team honors.Â
"The sign of a great goalkeeper is to come up with those one to two critical saves that help you win games. Sofia is that player. I love her confidence and her ability to bounce back from the ups and downs of the position. I know Sofia really wanted to prove herself having her 2023 season cut short due to injury after being named the ASUN Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year. I am really happy for her and she is well deserving of this accolade."

She made it look fairly easy. Nothing a coach loves more than having a freshman play like a senior and that is what Sarah provided us.
