JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida cross country looks to tune up for the postseason with its regular season finale at the Crimson Classic hosted by Alabama on Friday, Oct. 18, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
This will be the second time in three seasons that the Ospreys will be competing at the Crimson Classic, as the men finished as the team runner-ups and the women went top 10 overall in 2022. UNF aims to impress against a stacked field that features seven Power Four teams, while also being one of two ASUN teams in the meet.
The men's team will start the race at 9:30 a.m. ET, followed by the women's team with a start time of 10:20 a.m. ET. Live timing can be followed on PTT Timing, as well as updates on X/Twitter at @OspreyXCTF and Instagram at @OspreysTrack.

The last few weeks of training have been very productive. We have seen our fitness level rise and confidence grow. It will be exciting to race at Alabama. It is a very good field, as we see some top SEC teams, as well as many other good programs. The men are at full strength and our group of seniors are ready to roll. We will leave a couple of our top women back to train, as we opted out of the 6k distance for Smilla [Kolbe], Ines [Arqued] and Ana [Markovina]. We are all focused on preparations for the ASUN Championships here in Jacksonville in two weeks. Beautiful weather, great course and strong competition will make for an exciting race.head coach Jeff Pigg
