Women's Soccer Posts Clean Sheet Against Florida in Friendly

UNF Hasn’t Allowed a Goal at Hodges Since Oct. 23, 2021
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's soccer's clean sheet streak extended into 2023 as the Ospreys held Florida scoreless for 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw with the Gators in the lone exhibition Saturday, Aug. 12. UNF still hasn't permitted a goal at Hodges Stadium since Oct. 23, 2021.
The Ospreys sent 32 different student-athletes on to the pitch Saturday, with Sarah Barrentine, Sofia Miliancano and Rachel Fishkin all logging 30 minutes apiece in goal.Â
The game was played over 30 minutes across three periods. Saturday's game was UNF's first home exhibition since Aug. of 2019 against Southeastern.
North Florida gears up for a few more days of practice before hosting Air Force in the season opener Thursday, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m.
