AUSTIN, Texas - Aidan O'Gorman capped off his 2023 outdoor track campaign with a top-20 finish in the 10,000m finals race at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Wednesday evening, taking home NCAA All-American Honorable Mention honors in the process.
O'Gorman turned in a time of 29:43.69 to place 18th overall among a field of the nation's top distance runners at the Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field at the University of Texas.

"Aidan [O'Gorman] capped off a tremendous season tonight. He put himself in the perfect spot during the race and was able to move up a few spots. He showed such grit and desire during the grueling race. He continued to compete for all 25 laps passing one guy in the last lap. He has worked very hard to get to this level. He is fully committed to what it takes to be a great distance runner. I'm proud of him and look forward to continue the journey next year."
