Davis Lee Repeats 3-Under 69, Gabrelcik Matches Lee's Score

NORMAN, Okla. - North Florida men's golf continues to push the standard of play at the NCAA Norman Regional as the Ospreys jump into the fifth spot after the second round at Jimmy Austin OU Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ospreys turned in three scores under par and two scores in the 60s, paced by Davis Lee and Nick Gabrelcik at 3-under 69. Lee notched three birdies and an eagle to move into the top four individuals, while Gabrelcik improved in round two by four strokes after five birdies to sit with a share of 18th overall.

Lee keeps moving up the leaderboard going 5-under over his last 10 holes to place tied for fourth going into Wednesday's final round.
The senior has a top 10 score on par-four holes and one of eight players to record eagle on the week.
Gabrelcik also finished strong going 3-under in his last six holes to card 3-under 69 as well.
The three-time ASUN Golfer of the Year currently leads the team in pars with 24 total.
Lance Yates was the third Osprey under par after an incredible seven birdies in his last 10 holes to score 2-under 70.
The redshirt junior has a top-eight mark for birdies with nine total after only having one in the first round.
Robbie Higgins shares 33rd overall with Yates after a four-birdie afternoon that led to a 2-over 74 round.
The back-to-back First Team All-ASUN selection leads the team with 10 total birdies just ahead over Yates.
He joins Lee and Gabrelcik with the best par-five score in the tournament at 5-under, as they are three of the six players with that mark.
Cody Carroll rounded out the group once again with another 1-over 73 score with a birdie on each side.
The Ospreys are one of three teams to have a player in the top five and the top 20 on the leaderboard.
UNF has the most birdies with 40 total and the best par-five average score at 18-under among the field.
