JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After putting up nine runs in the second doubleheader game on Friday, North Florida softball (19-18, 2-10 ASUN) wasn't able to find the same production on offense in a 6-0 defeat to Liberty (25-13, 10-2 ASUN) on Saturday morning at the UNF Softball Complex.
The Ospreys were able to hold Liberty scoreless through the first four innings thanks to
Izzy Kelly and
Ashley Connor in the circle, but Liberty's bat woke up late.

Behind the Line Score
- Kayla Harper led off the first with a single, but was thrown out at home later in the inning to keep the game scoreless.
- Liberty had a pair of runners on in the second, but a line-out double play got UNF out of the early jam.
- Ospreys put together another double play in the third inning after Abi Annett caught a liner and got the out at first.
- UNF was able to get a runner to third in bottom of the fourth, but a line-out to second sent North Florida to the fifth with no runs combined.
- Flames added three runs in the fifth after a leadoff solo home run, followed with a wild pitch and a sac-fly to score two more.
- Another sac-fly and an RBI single in the sixth added another pair of runs for Liberty to make it a 5-0 ballgame.
- One more run was scored in the seventh to give Liberty their third win of the series.
