Lodise Sets UNF Single Season Freshman RBI Record
Lodise set the UNF single season freshman RBI record Friday, surpassing UNF Hall of Famer, Donnie Dewees, reaching 49 for his career with two home runs and an RBI double.Â
Peter Holden went 6.1 innings, totaling a quality start in his 11th straight start of at least five frames despite taking the no decision. Queens rallied to win 11-9 in game one, getting a two-out two-RBI single in the ninth. The Royals homered three times in game two to take the night cap, 8-2.

Behind the Line Score
- Aidan Sweatt and Austin Brinling opened the game with consecutive singles before Lodise walked. Cherokee Nichols cleared the bags with a double down the line. Lodise was able to score as the ball was misplayed down the line.
- Queens scratched across one in the fourth, using two walks and an RBI single, but Peter Holden was able to prevent further damage and strand the bags loaded.
- Lodise extended the UNF lead with a two-out two-run home run to right center in the fifth.
- Queens replied with three in the seventh to get back into. An RBI single was followed by a two-run home run to left center by Riley Cheek.
- Back-to-back jacks from Lodise and Nichols gave UNF some insurance, making it 7-4 Ospreys in the 7th.
- Queens filled the bases and drove them in, scoring five in the top of the eighth to take its first lead, 9-7.
- Down to two strikes and with nobody on in the eighth, Lodise singled to right before Nichols laced another single through the left side. With two strikes, Cade Reich sprayed a triple into the right field corner to tie the game up.
- Queens took the lead, 11-9, in the ninth thanks to a clutch two-RBI single to left center from Cheek.
- UNF threatened in the ninth, getting two on with two out, but Queens escaped as a Runnels liner was caught.

Behind the Line Score
- UNF got going in the first. Sweatt singled, stole second and later scored on a Lodise double off the centerfield wall.
- Matthew Clements flared a single to center and scored on a Brinling double into the right field corner, making it 2-0 UNF in the third.
- Queens got the equalizer on a two-run home run down the left field line in the fourth from Nick Brassington.
- Cheek homered again in the fifth, his second of the day, sending a solo shot to the camera lift in center.
- Brassington lifted his second homer of the game, a solo shot just over the wall in left in the sixth.
