
Women's Golf Sits Inside Top Four at Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate Presented by Gravity Plus

Gonzalez Leads Ospreys Tied For 12th Overall
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf scored a solid pair of rounds to put itself in contention inside the top four teams at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate presented by Gravity Plus on Monday afternoon.
The Ospreys set themselves up nicely heading into Tuesday's final round with a pair of golfers inside the top 20 individuals. They finished the first two rounds of play ahead of four top-100 teams, including No. 95 Western Kentucky, No. 68 Kennesaw State, No. 73 Penn State and No. 100 Memphis.
After finishing third in last season's home meet, Daniela Gonzalez is once again the top Osprey after sharing 12th through 36 holes with a score of 1-under 143. Jessie Cai is also approaching the top of the player's leaderboard being tied for 18th overall.

- Gonzalez brought her experience in the first two rounds, as the fifth-year graduate had a strong day with five birdies and only three holes worse than par to card 1-under 143.
- The Bogota, Colombia, native has earned the fourth-most pars with 29 totals, as well as a top-10 par-three average (1-under).
- Cai was a par machine with 30 total over 36 holes, along with three birdies, to go 1-over 145 on the day.
- She placed just in front of Gonzalez for the third-most pars by a player in the tournament so far.
- Wyndom Burnett had five birdies, including one on the 18th hole, to finish her pair of rounds tied for 32nd at 4-over 148.
- Christin Eisenbeiss had a slow start in the morning with only one birdie, but heated up as the afternoon went on shooting even-par in the second round to be inside the top 42.
- Sarah Scott made her UNF Collegiate debut as a part of the team score with 6-over 150 to grab a share of 53rd.
- Kaitlynn Washburn played well as an unattached individual in the first two rounds with a birdie on each nine played to score 9-over 153.
