JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (19-10, 2-3 ASUN) earned its first two wins of conference play after sweeping a twin bill against Stetson (17-15, 1-4 ASUN) on Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys scored early and often in both games with
Shannon Glover being the major run producer in both games. She combined for four hits, three RBIs, two runs and a home run over both games against the Hatters.
Ashley Connor was dominant in the circle with a complete game in the first win against Stetson, as well as a save recorded in final inning of the second win.
Izzy Kelly also kept her success going on the season with her ninth win in 14 appearances.

Behind the Line Score
- Glover was able to reach base, but was left stranded with no score in the first.
- Connor got out of an early jam when she struck out her fourth batter of the day through two innings.
- Glover knocked in two runs with two outs after putting the ball in play to go up by two runs in the bottom of the second.
- Connor escaped another jam in the third, forcing a fly-out to left field to keep the Hatters scoreless.
- UNF had runners on first and third, but weren't able to draw in runs in the third.
- Connor got out of a third straight jam unharmed with only one hit allowed through four frames.
- Glover sends one over the straight center wall to extend the lead to four runs in the bottom of the fourth.
- Stetson got their first score of the day with an RBI single, but the Ospreys got it right back after Kayla Harper scored on a throwing error.
- A 1-2-3 inning from Connor closed out another complete game for the sophomore in a 5-1 victory.

An early scoring barrage from the Ospreys was enough to solidify a second win on the day for UNF, as Kelly notched her ninth win of the season in the 5-2 victory.

Behind the Line Score
- Kelly forced three straight groundouts to begin the second game of the doubleheader.
- Glover led off the first with a double, which turned into a run after a wild pitch scored her later on from third.
- Kelly had two runners on base in the second, but kept the Hatters scoreless with a strikeout to end the inning.
- Hadlee Reichert laid down a bunt in the second, but it got away from Stetson to score another run for UNF.
- A sac fly from Regan Hermeling and an RBI single from Glover tagged on another pair of runs to extend their lead to 4-0.
