Ospreys Continue Dominance Against Long-Time Rival
KENNESAW, Ga. - UNF women's tennis continued its control of the head-to-head series with Kennesaw State, cruising past the long-time rival, 6-1, with a comprehensive road win Thursday, March 23.
North Florida (10-6, 2-1 ASUN) won two of three courts in doubles before taking five of the six singles courts in the 25th-straight victory against Kennesaw State (6-5, 1-2 ASUN).

How it Happened
In their first doubles match together Jasmin Makela and Annabelle Davis ended up being the clinching court for North Florida, taking down Ji Lee and Sofia Pinedo, 6-3, at the third slot. Kendall Nash and Isabel Oliveira earned the other win for UNF, picking up their fourth-straight victory. No. 68 Kit Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo had their 14-match doubles winning streak snapped at the first position.Â
UNF dominated Kennesaw State from there on out, winning five of six singles courts, with each winning court doing so in straight sets. Melilo, Makela and Gulihur all earned quick victories to clinch it before Davis and Oliveira added insurance points at courts two and three respectively.
