
Men’s Tennis Falls to Georgia Southern

STATESBORO, Ga. - North Florida (4-3) dropped a road test against a tough Georgia Southern (8-3) team Thursday, Mar. 2.
In doubles play, Jonas Hartenstein and Rodrigo Crespo took the win on the top court, 6-2. Breno Marques and Andreas Scott clinched the doubles point for the Ospreys, 6-3. The remaining court was left unfinished.
After a return from a rain delay, the Ospreys could not keep their lead as the Eagles secured four consecutive points to take the win. Matt Carroll fell 6-3, 6-3, at the second slot, followed by Scott coming up short in two. PJ Kotan and Crespo both fell 6-4, 6-4, as the Eagles took the 4-1 win over the Ospreys. The final two courts were left unfinished.
The Ospreys will have a quick turnaround as they host Coastal Carolina at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7 at the UNF Tennis Complex.
