Women's Golf Completes Play at Briar's Creek Invitational

Gonzalez and Eisenbeiss Both Score 4-Over 76 In Final Round

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. - North Florida women's golf finished out the final day in 14th-place at the Briar's Creek Invitational hosted by College of Charleston on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ospreys closed its early-week tournament ahead of No. 72 Miami (FL) and East Carolina with a combined score of 38-over 902. Christin Eisenbeiss completed the meet as the team's top scorer at even-par 216 to place inside the top 10.

  • Eisenbeiss notched her 13th top-10 finish of her career after scoring even-par on the week.
  • The junior added three more birdies on the final day of play to be tied for the most out of the entire player's field.
  • She also stayed inside the top 10 for par-three average at even-par (3.00).
  • Daniela Gonzalez matched Eisenbeiss' final round score at 4-over 76 with two birdies to place just outside the top 50.
  • Sarah Scott was a few strokes behind Gonzalez to be the third Osprey score at 13-over 229.
  • Jessie Cai finished with pars on seven of her last eight holes to card 8-over 80 in the final round.
  • Wyndom Burnett rounded out the group on Tuesday with 9-over 81.
  • The Ospreys were one of three teams outside the top seven to have a player ranked in the top 10 individuals.
  • UNF finished the tournament with 160 total pars and 33 total birdies.
