Women's Golf Wraps Up Play at UCF Challenge

Placed as 16th Team Against 18 Top-100 Schools
ORLANDO - North Florida women's golf finished its spring season opener against 18 of the best teams in the country at the UCF Challenge on Tuesday afternoon at the Eagle Creek Golf Club.
The Ospreys placed 16th overall with a score of 18-over 882 after shooting 4-over as a team in the final round of play. UNF ended the week ahead of No. 44 Miami (FL) and Old Dominion.
Christin Eisenbeiss repeated her round of even-par 72 to complete the tournament tied for 45th at 1-over 217. Wyndom Burnett also finished at even-par 72 in the final round to turn in a combined score of 4-over 220.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Eisenbeiss had a great start to the day with back-to-back birdies and ended the last 10 holes at 1-under on the way to her even-par final round.
- Burnett was a par machine on Tuesday with 16 total to go along with a birdie with a even-par score as well.
- Jessie Cai joined Eisenbeiss matching her score from the second round with 1-over 73 with two birdies on the day.
- Sarah Scott completed her Osprey team debut with a 3-over final round to accumulate a final score of 8-over 224.
- Daniela Gonzalez capped off the opener in Orlando with a 5-over final round to turn in 9-over 225 for the week.
- The Ospreys finished with the most pars in the entire tournament with 192 total.
- Burnett had the most pars on the team with 41 total, which ranked top-five in the field, along with Gonzalez and Cai notching 40 total to also place inside the top-10 individuals for pars.
- They also were one of three teams with two eagles, which were both scored in the second round.
- UNF moved up yet another spot in the team rankings for the second day in a row.
