Eisenbeiss Notches Program-Best Ninth Career Top-Five Finish

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - North Florida women's golf's finished its early week road test out west with a 13th overall finish at the The Show hosted by UNLV on Tuesday afternoon at Spanish Trail Country Club.

This was the second consecutive tournament featuring at least 14 or more teams that are ranked in Golfstat's top 100. UNF scored 42-over on the week, placing better than Charlotte and No. 88 Washington State in the UNLV home meet.

Christin Eisenbeiss had another fantastic outing in the final round at even-par 72 to place in the top five among a strong field. She picked up her ninth career top-five finish, which puts her ahead of former teammate Mindy Herrick for the most top-five finishes in program history.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Eisenbeiss started the day with six straight pars, followed by four straight birdies, to cap off her week with an even-par final round.
The junior adds on her 12th career top-10 finish and 19th career top-25 finish, as well as expanding her program-record lead for rounds under par with 27 total.
She also finished tied for third in par-three average (1-under), fourth in total birdies (12) and top eight in par-four average (2-under), while also posting 35 total pars.
Daniela Gonzalez recorded a birdie on each side to finish the meet at 6-over 78 in the final round of play.
Jessie Cai carded the best final round score for the Ospreys at 2-under 70 with four birdies to jump into the top 75 at UNLV.
Wyndom Burnett and Kaitlynn Washburn complete the group for the Ospreys tied for 82nd.
UNF finished the tournament with 158 total pars and 31 total birdies in Las Vegas.
