Ospreys Continue Road Stretch in South Carolina
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming returns to the pool to compete in the Gamecock Invitational, Nov. 15-17 at the University of South Carolina. The field will consist of South Carolina, UNCW, Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern, Vanderbilt, the University of Tampa and Milligan University.Â

"The Gamecock Invite is the perfect time to see where we are in the season. There will be a lot of good programs at the meet and our goal is to get everyone to the finals at night. FROM THE STARTING BLOCK
- Each day will start with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and the finals taking place at 6 p.m. except for Friday, Nov. 17, the finals will take place at 4 p.m.
- The Ospreys will see Georgia Southern for the third time this season, most recently claiming a 149-113 victory, Oct. 14
- The 800-yard freestyle relay will be swam for the first time this competition season
- The Ospreys enter the meet off the back of a victory over Florida Southern at the FSU Quad Meet, Oct. 20Â
- The Gamecock Invite will have ten swimmers per heatÂ
- A total of 40 swimmers will have the opportunity to compete in the evening finalsÂ
- Time trials can take place at any time at the discretion of the meet refereeÂ
