JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball makes the quick turnaround out west to take on Gonzaga Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. ET, in Spokane, Wash.

This will be the first matchup between North Florida and Gonzaga in program history.
The Ospreys continue its road stretch, as they head back to Florida for a road test at USF Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m., in Tampa, Fla.

- Will be first game played by UNF west of the Mississippi since December of 2018 in Colorado.
- Four Ospreys have scored in the double figures through the first three games of the season for the first time in D-I program history.
- First of four road games over the next 11 days with stops to Spokane, Wash., Tampa, Fla., and Statesboro, Ga.
- Coming off the 26th overtime game against FAU on Monday evening, as they record moves to 14-12 in such games.
- Alexa Washington continues to lead in scoring with 13.7 points per game shooting .417 (10-for-24) from deep.
- Lyric Swann, Kaila Rougier and Emma Broermann all join Washington with over 11.0 PPG as well.
- Broermann has been a bully on the boards with 7.0 rebounds per game, including 13 total defensively.
- Selma Eklund has earned the most minutes on the court through three games averaging 29.3 MPG, followed by Jayla Adams closely behind at 28.7 MPG.
- Adams also has been efficient dishes out assists with 18 total, as no other Osprey has reached the double-digit mark.
- UNF is averaging 85.3 PPG as a team with 229 total field goal attempts in the three games to start the year.
SCOUTING REPORT
- Gonzaga has started their 2023-24 campaign with a 2-1 record with wins against Montana and Toledo, while their lone loss was to No. 24 Washington State on the road.
- This will be the second of a three-game home stand for the Bulldogs after beating Toledo, 91-70, on Sunday.
- Back-to-back seasons hosting an ASUN opponent, as they defeated Queens (N.C.), 73-49, in Dec. 2022.
- Coming off a 28-5 year last season with only one conference loss and an undefeated record at home.
- They ended the year with back-to-back losses in the WCC Championship game and the first round of the NCAA tournament.
- Five Zags are averaging double digits in scoring including Yvonne Ejim (19.0 PPG), Kaylynne Truong (16.0 PPG), Kayleigh Truong (15.0 PPG), Eliza Hollingsworth (10.7 PPG) and Brynna Maxwell (10.7 PPG).
- Gonzaga's head coach Lisa Fortier was recently named to the 2024 Kathy Delaney-Smith Coach of the Year Award preseason watch list.
- The Bulldogs were selected first overall in the WCC preseason poll, as they received eight first-place votes and totaled 64 points.
- The Truong sisters, as well as Ejim and Maxwell, were also selected to the WCC Preseason Team.
AN OSPREY WIN AGAINST GONZAGA WOULD...
- Be the first win against Gonzaga in the first matchup between the two teams.
