
Men's Soccer Closes Out Regular Season at Central Arkansas

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's soccer will play its season finale in a weekend matinee on the road against Central Arkansas, on Saturday, Oct. 28, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET, in Conway, Ark.
Central Arkansas comes into this match with a 2-8-4 overall record and a 1-2-3 record in conference play. They have also put a 1-2-2 record together in home games this season with their last win being a 6-2 victory against Queens (N.C.) on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The Bears have fallen in four of the past six games with the other two matches resulting in draws to Stetson and FGCU. This will be their first home game since Saturday, Oct. 14 and their second home game since facing the Royals on Sept. 23.
Pietro Fontana has been the leader of this team on offense with 11 goals scored out of the 20 total the Bears have put in the back of the net this season. He leads the team with 34 total shots and 21 shots on goal, as well as two game-winning scores.
Four players, led by Devonte Richards with five total, have assisted in goals this year through 14 games played. Three goalkeepers have seen significant playing time as well with at least 17 saves from each player, as Connor Wachtel leads the pack with 31 saves total.
