
Honoring Six Seniors in Home Finale Against Queens (N.C.)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's soccer will host its final home game of the season, as the Ospreys will honor six seniors before the game against Queens (N.C.) on Saturday, Oct. 21, with kickoff set for 7 p.m., at Hodges Stadium.
Queens (N.C.) plays its final road game of the season with a 3-8-2 overall record and a 1-4 record in conference play. They started their season strong by winning its season opener against Winthrop and come into this game on a high note with a pair of victories this month against College of Charleston and Jacksonville.
The Royals played a midweek game at home against Virginia Tech before traveling to Jacksonville this weekend. They also sport a 1-4-1 record in away games this year with the one win being at Charleston, 1-0.
Michel Feldman, Mario Goic and Ciro Bourlot Jaeggi all have multiple goals this season, followed by six other players to have one goal. Feldman leads the team in goals and assists with four each, while Goic holds the team lead in shots by a wide margin with 25 total.
Three different goalkeepers have played for Queens throughout 2023 with Evan Morris getting the most recent start with a 1.26 GAA and 30 total saves. Javier Izquierdo-Cuervo and Axel Horrocks have also received playing time with six combined starts and 28 total saves between the two.
- UNF is 1-1 all-time against Queens (N.C.) with this being the first game played at Hodges Stadium between the two teams in program history.
