
Swimming Takes on FSU Quad Meet

Ospreys Face FSU, Florida Southern & UWF
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming hits the road for the first time this competition season to take part in the annual FSU Quad Meet, Friday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. The field will consist of Florida State, Florida Southern and West Florida.Â

FROM THE STARTING BLOCK
- This will be the 10th meeting between the Ospreys and the SeminolesÂ
- UNF faces West Florida for the seventh time and is looking for its sixth win all-time against Florida SouthernÂ
- The Ospreys enter the meet off the back of its first win of the season against Georgia SouthernÂ
- Freshman Kayla Daley contributed to four first-place finishes while winning three individual races and setting two personal bestsÂ
- UNF won six total races against the EaglesÂ
- The Ospreys boast a strong freshman class of five newcomers in Daley, Ashley Kirby, Amanda Loomis, Riley McCormick and Paige MunnaÂ
- Freshmen accounted for 30% of the point total against Georgia SouthernÂ
- There will be a 15-minute break following the conclusion of the 50-yard freestyle and a 10-minute break after the finish of the 100-yard butterfly.Â
